Advertising disclosure

The disclosure standards that apply to every affiliate, publisher, creator, ambassador, participant, brand and agency that promotes content connected with Luup One or any participating brand.

This Advertising Disclosure Policy applies to all affiliates, publishers, creators, ambassadors, participants, brands, agencies, and other persons who create, publish, share, review, recommend, or promote content connected with Luup One, operated by Luup L.L.C-FZ (Dubai, United Arab Emirates), or any participating brand.

01Purpose

1.1This Policy exists to ensure that promotional content is clear, truthful, and transparent.

1.2Any person receiving, eligible to receive, or hoping to receive a reward, commission, royalty, free product, discount, access benefit, gift card, credit, or other commercial benefit must disclose that relationship where required.

1.3Disclosure is your responsibility. Luup One may provide guidance or mission instructions, but you remain responsible for complying with the laws, advertising rules, consumer protection rules, and platform policies that apply to you.

02Scope

2.1This Policy applies to:

  1. social posts;
  2. videos;
  3. stories;
  4. reels;
  5. livestreams;
  6. blogs;
  7. websites;
  8. landing pages;
  9. emails;
  10. SMS;
  11. direct messages;
  12. paid ads;
  13. podcasts;
  14. communities;
  15. reviews;
  16. comments;
  17. offline promotions;
  18. any other promotional communication.

2.2This Policy applies whether the promotion is paid, unpaid, gifted, commission based, reward based, or based on possible future benefit.

03Your responsibility by location

3.1You must comply with the laws and rules that apply in:

  1. the country where you live;
  2. the country where you are physically located when posting;
  3. the country where your audience is located or targeted;
  4. the country where the brand operates;
  5. the platform where content is published.

3.2You must not assume that Luup One, a brand, or a mission brief has checked every local rule that applies to you.

3.3If your location requires an advertising licence, influencer permit, creator permit, business licence, tax registration, media licence, or other approval, you must obtain it before publishing promotional content.

04UAE Advertiser Permit

4.1If you publish promotional content from within the UAE, you must check whether you require a UAE Advertiser Permit, media permit, trade licence, or other approval before posting.

4.2If a permit number or approval number must be displayed under UAE law, platform rules, or mission instructions, you must display it in the required place and format.

4.3Luup One may request evidence of your permit, licence, approval, or registration at any time.

4.4Failure to provide evidence may result in mission rejection, reward reversal, payout hold, suspension, or removal from the programme.

05Disclosure standard

5.1Disclosures must be clear, visible, understandable, and placed where people will see them before or at the time they engage with the promotional content.

5.2Disclosures must not be hidden:

  1. only in your bio;
  2. only on your profile page;
  3. only at the end of a long caption;
  4. only after “more” or “read more”;
  5. only in a long list of hashtags;
  6. only in small, fast moving, low contrast, or hard to read text;
  7. only in a separate link or terms page;
  8. only in a video description where the video itself requires disclosure.

5.3Platform disclosure tools may be used where appropriate, but they do not replace your responsibility to ensure the disclosure is legally sufficient.

06Suggested disclosure wording

6.1Depending on the platform, content, and local law, disclosures may include:

  1. “Ad”;
  2. “Paid partnership”;
  3. “Sponsored”;
  4. “I may earn a reward if you use my link”;
  5. “I may receive a commission”;
  6. “I received a reward or benefit from this brand”;
  7. “This post is part of a Luup One mission”;
  8. your UAE Advertiser Permit number, displayed in the required place and format, where required.

6.2Hashtags such as #Ad or #Sponsored may be acceptable only where they are prominent, clear, and legally sufficient in the relevant jurisdiction.

6.3Ambiguous labels such as #partner, #thanks, #collab, #gifted, #sp, or #brandname may not be sufficient unless local law and platform rules allow them.

07Video, stories, reels, shorts, and livestreams

7.1Where promotional content appears in video or livestream formats, disclosure may need to appear:

  1. on screen;
  2. in spoken audio;
  3. in the caption;
  4. in the title;
  5. in the first frame;
  6. at intervals during livestreams;
  7. through a platform paid partnership tool.

7.2If a mission requires a specific disclosure format, placement, timing, or wording, you must follow it exactly.

7.3You must not hide important offer terms in fast moving text or low visibility overlays.

08Reviews, testimonials, and claims

8.1Reviews and testimonials must be truthful, accurate, and based on genuine experience unless clearly stated otherwise.

8.2You must not claim to have used a product, service, app, subscription, or offer if you have not used it.

8.3You must not make claims that go beyond the brand’s approved materials or mission brief.

8.4You must not make unapproved health, medical, financial, legal, investment, income, performance, safety, or regulated claims.

8.5You must not show payout screenshots in a way that implies guaranteed earnings.

09Paid advertising

9.1Paid ads must include required disclosures and must comply with platform advertising rules.

9.2You are responsible for your own ad account, budget, targeting, copy, creative, landing pages, disclosure, and legal compliance.

9.3Luup One may require ad screenshots, keyword lists, targeting details, landing page links, account reports, or other evidence of compliance.

10Enforcement

10.1Failure to disclose properly may result in:

  1. mission rejection;
  2. content takedown request;
  3. reward reversal;
  4. payout delay;
  5. payout cancellation;
  6. account suspension;
  7. account termination;
  8. removal from brand programmes;
  9. legal reporting where required.

10.2Luup One may require corrective disclosures, content edits, or removal of content at any time.

11Governing law and jurisdiction

11.1This Policy and any dispute arising out of or in connection with it are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws applicable in the Emirate of Dubai.

11.2The Courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre shall have jurisdiction to hear and determine disputes arising out of or in connection with this Policy, subject to mandatory legal rights that cannot be excluded.
